A man in his 40s who brutally murdered his cohabitant again after being punished twice for murder was permanently isolated from society.

Seoul High Court Chuncheon Court Criminal Division 1 (Chief Judge Hwang Seung-tae) rejected the appeal of Mr. A (48) accused of murder today (11th), saying, "The sentence is heavy," and upheld the judgment of the lower court that sentenced him to life imprisonment. .

The Court of Appeal explained the reason for the dismissal, saying, "The selection of sentencing factors by the lower court was justified, and the sentencing by the lower court did not deviate from the reasonable range of discretion."

Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of murdering his partner B with a weapon in Donghae City on the night of May 5th and early morning of the 6th of last year.

As a result of the investigation, Mr. A met Mr. B by chance in mid-April, had a drink, and felt a crush on him, and started living together at Mr. B’s house. I'm here.

When Mr. A hit or struck Mr. B several times with her weapon and broke it, she committed a terrible crime of killing her by inflicting fatal wounds, such as brandishing another weapon.

In 2001, Mr. A was sentenced to 8 years in prison in January of the following year for the murder of his ex-wife who brought up the story of 'let's break up'.

Mr. A, who was released on parole in February 2009 ahead of the expiry of his sentence, remarried a Vietnamese woman.

However, he developed an affair with another Vietnamese woman and tried to get married, but when the mother of the adulterous woman opposed the marriage, he killed the mother in Vietnam.

Mr. A, who committed the murder again just about 3 years after killing his ex-wife, was sentenced to 14 years in prison by a Vietnamese court, and after serving about 8 years and 5 months, he was released from prison in 2020 and deported to South Korea.

However, Mr. A, who brutally murdered his housemate again about two years after being deported, eventually stood in court for the 'third murder'.

At the last appeal trial, Mr. A stated to the effect that he could not remember the crime because he was drunk, and said, "What can I say after committing a serious crime? I am sorry to the victim, and this is all I can say." I bowed my head, but I couldn't lessen the punishment.
