Poet Go Eun, who has been inactive since the sex scandal in 2018, recently published a collection of poems and conversations.

She is controversial as she returns to the literary world without much explanation or apology.

This is reporter Lee Joo-sang.

<Reporter> At the end of

last year, poet Ko Un published two books at once: a collection of poetry and a collection of conversations.

He even contributed a poem commemorating the late Kim Seong-dong in a literary quarterly.

It is a full-fledged return to the literary world after 5 years of hiatus in 2018 due to sexual violence allegations.

The sudden move raises concerns.

A literary media outlet conducted a survey of 2,424 people, including 202 literary figures, and found that 99.3% were opposed to the return of poet Ko Un to the literary world.

[Lee Min-woo/News Paper Editor-in-Chief: There is almost no consistent difference.

99.3% of writers and writers say 'Go Eun's return is not right'.

There was no gender or age difference at all.] The fact

that there was no explanation or apology for the sexual scandal is cited as the biggest factor.

[Park Cheol-hwa/Literary critic: It would have been much better if he had done self-reflection on his youthful behavior and literary exploits early on, but he has to be sufficiently criticized for his actions that he hoped to become with time.]

In a lawsuit filed against poet Choi Young-mi and others for false information, the case was ultimately lost in 2019, but there was no explanation either.

Even at the bookstore, the gaze is not good.

Large bookstores such as Kyobo Bookstore and Internet bookstores such as Yes24 and Aladdin minimize exposure or mention of books.

Poet Choi Yeong-mi, who first exposed Go Eun's sexual harassment and was sued by her, refused to interview her and said that her message was 'futile'.
