A wife who stabbed her husband with a weapon was arrested by the police about a month after they divorced and reunited.
Today (9th), Wonmi Police Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do announced that it had booked a woman in her 40s for special injuries.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of stabbing and injuring her husband Mr. B's abdomen once with her weapon at a villa in Bucheon at around 4:48 am on the 7th.
After the crime, Mr. A reported himself to the police and was arrested as a current criminal, and Mr. B was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. A committed her crime in a fit of anger after arguing with Mr. B while she was drinking.
A and B were married 15 years ago and divorced, and it was found that they recently decided to reunite and started living together a month ago.
During the police investigation, Mr. A admitted to her crime, but her husband Mr. B stated that she did not want Mr. A to be punished, saying that she had 'injured herself'.
However, a police official said, "Even if the victim does not want to be punished, we will continue the investigation."
