Chungnam National University Hospital, which reported to the police that the employee who informed the police of the messenger record related to 'harassment at work', was judged as 'unfair disciplinary' by the labor authorities.



According to Chungnam National University Hospital and the Chungnam Regional Labor Relations Commission (hereinafter referred to as Jinowi) today (9th), on the 3rd, Ginowi sent an unfair disciplinary decision to Chungnam National University Hospital for the 'two-month suspension' issued by the hospital to employee A.



In addition, the hospital was ordered to cancel the suspension of Mr. A within 30 days of receiving the unfair disciplinary decision and to pay the equivalent of his wages during the suspension period.



Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office issued a non-prosecution order regarding the case of reporting Mr. A to the police for violating the Information and Communications Network Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.



Previously, this hospital employee A said that after the personnel appointment in September 2021, his colleagues at work on the work PC used by his predecessor from January to September 2020 abused him, such as 'garbage', 'trick', and 'I have to bully'. And I found the messenger records that were slandered.



According to Mr. A, after joining the company in December 2019, he has been bullied at work for reasons such as refusing a year-end drinking party from his motives who joined first.



After discovering slander and bullying over several months, Mr. A reported one employee to the police and submitted the messenger record to the investigative authorities as evidence of workplace harassment.



The hospital, which found out the facts belatedly, held a special audit in September of last year, but instead of disciplining colleagues, it was suspended for two months for leaking employee's personal information to the outside.



This is a disposition corresponding to heavy punishment along with dismissal, dismissal, and demotion.



Afterwards, the hospital side reported Mr. A to the Daejeon Central Police Station on charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act.

Prosecutors also said, "Mr. A was using a business PC that he had the right to use, and he only saw the stored messenger record file, and there was no access to another person's ID, etc." At the end of last year, a written reason for non-prosecution was delivered to the hospital.
