From today, travelers from Hong Kong and Macau as well as mainland China must submit a negative COVID-19 test certificate to enter the country.

You must submit a negative PCR test received within 48 hours of entry or a negative rapid antigen test for experts within 24 hours.

In addition, when boarding an airplane, you must register your domestic address and contact information in the Q code of the quarantine information pre-entry system.

However, PCR testing after entry is not compulsory.

The reason why quarantine authorities have strengthened quarantine for entrants from Hong Kong and Macau following mainland China is that the number of corona19 confirmed cases in these regions is also on the rise.

We also took into account the fact that last month there were more arrivals from Hong Kong than from mainland China.

Among the newly confirmed cases of Corona 19, the number of imported cases was 219 as of 0:00 am today, a decrease of 39 from yesterday, and 78% of the imported cases came from China.

The total number of new confirmed cases was 53,807, down by 9,000 from a week ago, indicating that the momentum for the resurgence of Corona 19 has slowed.
