The court dismissed an arrest warrant for Democratic Party lawmaker Noh Woong-rae on charges of bribery today (3rd).

The Seoul Central District Court dismissed the arrest warrant for Roh, saying, "It is because the motion for the arrest of the suspect of the National Assembly member during the session was rejected."

As the motion for arrest was rejected in the National Assembly, the court closed the case without questioning the suspect before arrest according to the procedure.

Rep. Roh is accused of receiving a total of 60 million won on five occasions from February to November 2020, along with a request for business convenience from businessman Park Mo.

Previously, Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon disclosed evidence in detail, such as the content of the audio recording of the scene of exchanging money and text messages between the two people at the main meeting room before the vote on the motion for the arrest of Congressman Roh held at the National Assembly on the 28th of last month.
