The National Coalition for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, which has been demanding an increase in the budget for the rights of persons with disabilities, is protesting on the subway for the second day.

Today (3rd), they announced that they would hold a demonstration in the Samgak area of Subway Line 4 from 10:30 am, and then suddenly changed the time and place to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station.

The Seoul Transportation Corporation has announced that they will block their subway rides at the source, so the confrontation between the two sides is expected to continue.

National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled has repeatedly clashed with the Seoul Transportation Corporation and the police at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station on Subway Line 4 for three hours.

Jeon Jang-yeon started a subway boarding propaganda at around 8 am today at Sungshin Women's University Station on Seoul Subway Line 4.

Last night, through Facebook, it was announced that "the protest will start at 10:30 am today," but the time and place were suddenly changed.

About 20 members of Jeon Jeon-yeon, who boarded at Sungshin Women's University Station, tried to get off at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station on subway line 4 and boarded again, but were stopped by Seoul Transportation Corporation staff.

Jeon Jeon said, "This year, for 260 days, excluding weekends and holidays, we will conduct a subway propaganda campaign on the way to work every day in the Samgak area of Line 4, where the President's Office is located."

At the same time, he requested a meeting with the Minister of Planning and Finance to secure a budget for the rights of people with disabilities, but he added a proviso that he would postpone the subway propaganda campaign when the date of the meeting was set.

Jeon Jeon-yeon tried to protest riding the subway in the triangle area of Line 4 from the rush hour yesterday, but confronted the transportation corporation and the police who were blocking it for about 13 hours on the platform in the station.

The Seoul Transportation Corporation announced yesterday that a total of 13 subways passed through the Samgak area without stopping.

Earlier, on the 19th of last month, the court presented a mediation plan regarding the lawsuit filed by the Seoul Transportation Corporation against Jeon Jeon-yeon, but the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Transportation Corporation rejected it, so it is expected that this trial will be followed.
