Even at this time, people from China are waiting for the corona test results at Incheon International Airport.

We will connect our reporters who are out on the scene.

Reporter Park Jae-hyeon, are there still many people in the airport whose test results haven't been released yet?

Yes, short-term foreigners from China wait in a place behind me, and when they are confirmed, they take a bus waiting there and go to the quarantine facility.

Quarantine is for a total of one week in accordance with domestic regulations, and you will have to pay up to 150,000 won for accommodation and 15,000 won for food.

Yesterday (2nd), 61 people were confirmed, and assuming that a similar number is confirmed every day, there are concerns that quarantine facilities that can accommodate 160 people prepared by the quarantine authorities will be full within 2-3 days.

When our reporters visited a quarantine facility near Incheon International Airport and checked it, it was found that around 20 people were accommodated.

Among short-term confirmed cases, if a Korean spouse or relative guarantees it, 'guardian's home isolation' is possible, so not all go to the facility.

Thanks to this distributed isolation method used in the early days of Corona, the quarantine facility is operating at about 17.5%.

In addition, reserve facilities that can be used by 134 people have been prepared in Seoul and Gyeonggi.

The important thing is that the quarantine authorities and local governments meticulously take care of the quarantine and inspection of entrants from China.

Some of the departure country information was omitted from the quarantine information system today, and local governments were unable to check the list of entrants from China, resulting in criticism that management was not thorough.
