According to the legal community today (2nd), the 11th Criminal Division of the Daegu District Court (Chief Judge Lee Seon-oh) sentenced Mr. A (43), who was charged with violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, to 1 year in prison, 1 year probation, and suspension of qualifications. sentenced to one year.



Between July 25 and 26 of last year, Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of sneaking into the apartment of his parents' house where the victim and ex-wife B (43) is staying and installing a hidden camera in the form of a fire alarm.



At that time, Mr. A entered the password of Mr. B's parents' house, which he knew in advance, and installed a hidden camera in the form of a fire alarm for the purpose of recording conversations between the victim and others.



However, the hidden camera he installed does not work properly, and he is charged with an attempt (violation of the Protection of Communications Secrets Act).



Previously, Mr. A was also accused of stalking 10 times, including visiting Mr. B's workplace and waiting for 5 hours in front of his house from June to September of the same year.



As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A contacted Mr. B, who had been married for the past year and five months, and asked to meet again with Mr. B, who had divorced by agreement.



To Mr. A, who eventually stood in court, the judge said, "The guilt is not light for violating the peace and privacy of the residence and freedom."



However, regarding the violation of the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, etc. included in the indictment, Mr. B dismissed it as an anti-injury crime, expressing his intention to 'do not want Mr. A to be punished'.
