Jeon Yeon-yeon of the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities announced that she would accept the court's mediation proposal last month regarding the damages lawsuit filed by the Seoul Transportation Corporation.

Jeon Jeon said today (1st), "Unfortunately, I accept the court's adjustment," and demanded that "Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Seoul Transportation Corporation also accept the judicial adjustment plan."

On the 19th of last month, the Seoul Central District Court imposed a compulsory adjustment on the condition that the corporation install elevators in 19 stations by 2024 and that Jeon Jeon suspend train operation protests in a lawsuit for damages filed against Jeon Jeon-yeon and the group's representative, Park Gyeong-seok.

At the same time, if Jeon Jeon delays subway operation by more than 5 minutes due to a protest on getting on and off the subway, 5 million won per time is to be paid to the construction.

Jeon Jeon-yeon said, "I will gladly take the subway, which the court has adjusted, within 5 minutes."

He then asked, "Wouldn't the citizenship of the disabled be guaranteed if they boarded within 5 minutes?"

Jeon Jeon-yeon pointed out that "the court's adjustment plan is unfair because it does not specify any measures for (the corporation's) failure to install the elevator," and demanded a 'sincere official apology' from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the corporation.

Jeon Jeon said that only 0.8% of the budget demand for the rights of persons with disabilities was reflected in this year's government budget, which passed the National Assembly plenary session on the 24th of last month, and announced that the subway getting on and off protests would resume from the 2nd of this month.

In response, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said on the 26th of last month, if Jeon Jeon-yeon resumes the subway protests, the 'zero tolerance principle'

They warned that they would respond with
