The number of people infected with COVID-19 is rapidly increasing in China.

Suspicion was also raised that some Chinese were stockpiling cold medicine in Korea.

Yesterday (28th), a media reported that at a pharmacy in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, Chinese people brought a travel carrier and swept away 6 million won worth of medicines such as fever reducers and cold medicines.

At another nearby pharmacy, a Chinese showed the names of various cold medicines written in Korean and bought 300,000 won worth.

The Chinese are presumed to be bundlers who buy medicines in Korea and then return to China and resell them at a multifold profit.

As the suspicion grew, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said, "Acts in which pharmacies sell a large amount of cold medicine that cannot be seen for treatment to individual patients can be punished under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act." revealed.
