81% of respondents said they had a 'negative' or 'very negative' perception of China.



This is the highest level among the 56 countries surveyed, and is about 10 percentage points higher than 72% in second-ranked Switzerland and 69% in third-ranked Japan.



The media pointed out that 'China's military power' had an impact on anti-China sentiment in most countries, but in Korea, 'China's influence on the global natural environment' was viewed more negatively.
