As the situation in which not only professional sports such as volleyball but also influential members of society were involved in military service corruption was revealed one after another through exclusive reports from SBS, Prosecutor General Lee Won-seok summoned Yang Seok-jo, head of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office, who is investigating the case, to the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office to report directly. received

“The unfairness and preferential treatment of compulsory military service is a serious crime that brings a sense of loss of justice and a great sense of deprivation to young people and the people,” said President Lee at this meeting.

At the same time, he ordered a "quick and thorough investigation into brokers and medical institution workers who polluted military service with black money."

To this end, the prosecution decided to expand the joint investigation team with the Military Manpower Administration and support digital forensics and legal review at the level of the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office.

As a result, the investigation is expected to expand beyond brokers and military service evaders to medical workers and military manpower officials who may have cooperated in corruption.
