This is a letter written in Korean from Na Sin-geol, a military officer in the early Joseon Dynasty, to her wife, Shin Chang-maeng.



In 2011, it was found folded several times in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

The letter filled in so tightly that it was impossible to find the blanks contained the longing for the mother and children and the affection for the wife.

This Hangeul letter is also significant as a historical source.
