Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon said, "It is a problem that you can respond within the judicial system of this country like other citizens, and the law is what you have to do."
Minister Han met with reporters right after the plenary session of the National Assembly today (24th) and said, "It is common for politicians under investigation to make excessive and exaggerated remarks."
Regarding the observation that Representative Lee would not respond to the summons, he repeated the same answer, saying, "It is a problem that you can respond within the judicial system just like other citizens."
Minister Han gave a principled answer to the motion for the arrest of Rep. Woong-Rae Noh, saying, "There is a procedure in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Korea. It will be done accordingly."
Representative Lee Jae-myeong defined the recent prosecution investigation at a meeting of the Supreme Council held in Gangwon yesterday (23rd) as "a crazy sword dance of the Yoon Seok-yeol regime" and strongly criticized it as "destructive oppression of the opposition party, killing political opponents."
