Mr. Hong, the grandson of the late honorary chairman Hong Doo-young, the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, who was handed over to trial for distributing and smoking hemp, admitted all charges.



At the first hearing on the 23rd day of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Agreement Division 27 (Chief Judge Kim Ok-gon) on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act (marijuana), Mr. Hong's lawyer said, "I admit all the facts of the prosecution."



Mr. Hong also answered "yes" to the judge who asked if it was right to admit the charges.



Earlier, on the 3rd, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office’s Violent Crime Investigation Department (Chief Prosecutor Shin Jun-ho) indicted Mr. Hong, Mr. Jo, a third-generation member of the Beom Hyosung family, and Mr. Lim, the son-in-law of the former chairman of JB Financial Group, for violating the Narcotics Control Act. I did.



Prosecutors said, "The accused's additional crimes have been confirmed, and additional charges will be filed within this month at the latest."



The judge plans to hold a hearing on February 1 next year to hear the additional charges, close the pleadings, and pronounce a judgment before the regular appointment of judges.
