It was belatedly known that the forest fire was prevented by the quick response of the police in a situation where a forest fire could have started while burning the belongings of the deceased mother.

According to the Daejeon Police Agency on the 20th, A, a woman in her 50s, burned her belongings at her mother's oxygen in Seo-gu, Daejeon at around 5:50 pm on the 8th.

However, as it became difficult for the fire engine to enter the mountain road, police officer Kim Yang-ha of the Daejeon West Police Station's Gubong District Regiment, who received a request for joint response while the arrival of the fire authorities was delayed, arrived at the scene at around 6:04 pm.

Policeman Kim checked the safety of Mr. A and put out the fire in about 5 minutes with a fire extinguisher brought from the patrol car.

After confirming that there was no damage to her, the police sent Mr. A home, and after that, Mr. A is known to have thanked Soon-kyung Kim via text message.
