A court sentenced a 30-year-old fitness trainer to prison for entering a women's locker room and illegally filming a personal training member he was teaching.

Today (19th), Daejeon District Court Criminal 8 Single (Judge Cha Joo-hee) sentenced Mr. A (30) to 10 months in prison for charges such as violating the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (shooting and distributing using cameras, etc.) He was ordered to complete a sexual assault treatment program for 3 hours and to be restricted from employment in facilities related to children, adolescents and the disabled for 3 years.

On April 21st, Mr. A is accused of taking a picture of member B washing in the shower room of a gym in Seo-gu, Daejeon, where he worked, with his mobile phone.

On this day, member B used the shower room after receiving personal training (PT) from A, and it was reported that A entered the space to film this.

Afterwards, member B, who was aware of the fact of his damage, called and confessed it to Mr. A, whom he had always trusted, but in fact, he was the perpetrator of the crime.

To Mr. A, who eventually stood in court, the judge said, "The defendant broke into the women's locker room at the gym he manages for the purpose of filming, and the crime is very bad." We are pleading for severe punishment.”

However, he explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The fact that the defendant acknowledged and reflected on his crime, completed sexual violence education himself, deposited compensation for damages in advance, and recently married and had dependents, admitted and reflected on his mistakes." .
