As a result of a survey conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on 5,100 adult men and women across the country in July, 63.1% answered that 'personality' was the most important thing when choosing a spouse.

Since the survey began in 1996, 'Personality' has remained at number one.
On the other hand, 'appearance' ranked last.
However, in the first survey in 1996, 'appearance' was only 0.9%, but in this survey, it increased to 2.7%.
Personality was followed by job, property, and family environment in the order of importance.
