This morning (17th), an elementary school student was killed by a bus in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Sidewalk railings have been uprooted and fallen on roadsides, and boulevards are broken.



There was an accident that a 12-year-old elementary school student who was crossing the crosswalk at around 9:08 am was hit by a bus and died.



It is only 8m away from the school zone, and there are elementary and middle schools nearby, so it is a street where many students usually move.



The roads were wet and slippery from the recent snowfall.

The police are investigating the bus driver for manslaughter, but it is believed that he was not in a traffic signal violation or drunk.



The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on CCTV and vehicle black boxes.

A fire broke out on the first floor of a multi-family house in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, around 11:00 last night.



A mother in her 70s and her daughter in her 50s were found in cardiac arrest and taken to the hospital.



Her daughter regained her consciousness, but her mother died.



The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire through on-site identification.

Today, at around 11:40 am, a car that was driving near the Fire Tunnel on Olympic Road in Seoul caught fire.



There was a driver and a passenger in the car, but they stopped the car and evacuated quickly, so there were no casualties.
