An elementary school student was killed by a bus while crossing a crosswalk on a road in Segok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Today (17th) at around 9:08 am, a 12-year-old male elementary school student crossed the street alone at a three-way intersection in front of an apartment complex in Segok-dong, Gangnam-gu.
The place of the accident was only 15m away from the children's protection area (school zone).
The accident road is a place with a weak slope, but it is said that it was slippery because of the snow that fell in the morning.
The police are identifying the exact circumstances of the accident through CCTV near the accident site and a black box inside the bus.
