Yesterday (15th) evening, a subway train on Seoul Subway Line 1 broke down and stopped for nearly two hours on the Hangang Railroad Bridge.

About 500 passengers on their way home from work were trapped in the car, and subway service was disrupted.

Yesterday at around 8:00 pm, a car on Seoul Subway Line 1 on its way from Yongsan Station to Noryangjin Station broke down and stopped on the Han River Railroad Bridge.



Korail connected another train to the train and towed it to Noryangjin Station, but about 500 passengers on the broken train were isolated in the vehicle for nearly two hours.

Three passengers complained of chills and were taken to the hospital.



As a result of this accident, both the upper and lower lines of Subway Line 1 were operated on temporary tracks for nearly 2 hours, and the operation of 50 trains using the same line was delayed for up to 50 minutes.



Korail said it was investigating the cause of the vehicle's breakdown.

Yesterday at around 5:30 pm, a fire broke out in an SUV running near the southeast interchange in the direction of Incheon on the 2nd Gyeongin Expressway in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.



No one was injured, but the front of the vehicle was completely burned, and fire authorities estimate that the fire started because the engine room overheated.
