During the former Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, the prosecution summoned Lee Seong-yoon, a researcher at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, who is investigating the suspicion that a so-called 'filming' inspection was conducted for the purpose of resigning then Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.

The 5th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office (Chief Prosecutor Choi Woo-young) summoned Lee as a suspect on the morning of the 16th and is investigating.

In connection with the 'Channel A case' in October 2020, this researcher was involved in the transfer of prosecution data, such as call details, obtained under the pretext of supervising then prosecutor Han Dong-hoon (currently Minister of Justice) to the Ministry of Justice's inspection committee, which supervised President Yoon. I am facing charges.

Prosecutors are known to investigate whether Lee, then chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, approved the delivery of data or exerted undue pressure in the process.

Ministry of Justice inspection results On December 16, 2020, President Yoon was suspended for two months for reasons such as writing and distributing documents suspected of inspecting major courts, obstructing inspection and investigation of the Channel A case, and undermining political neutrality as a prosecutor.
