On the 16th, the prosecution, which is investigating the suspicion that the so-called 'filming' inspection was conducted for the purpose of resigning the then Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol during the former Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, summoned Lee Seong-yoon, a researcher at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, as a suspect.

In 2020, when he was chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, researcher Lee Seong-yoon was involved in the transmission of data such as call details obtained under the pretext of supervising then-prosecutor Dong-Hoon Han in connection with the 'Channel A case' to the Ministry of Justice's Inspection Committee, which supervised President Yoon. are receiving

Before heading to the investigation room, Lee met with reporters and claimed that President Yoon, as the then prosecutor general, interfered with the investigation and supervision of the Channel A case and "poured out harsh words" to him.

Researcher Lee said, "President Yoon shouted, 'Is there anything you can't see?'" and "at that time, he felt an unbearable sense of humiliation."

Researcher Lee said that former President Yoon was disciplined for interfering with the investigation and inspection, and the Seoul Administrative Court also clearly ruled that the disciplinary action was justified as it amounted to serious misconduct beyond dismissal.
