Today (10th) at around 10:17 am, a fire broke out at a whole chicken restaurant in 'Suwon Whole Chicken Street' in Namsu-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do.



The fire broke out in a restaurant on the 1st floor of a building with a total floor area of ​​677㎡ on the 3rd floor (restaurant on the 1st and 2nd floors and staff accommodation on the 3rd floor).



At the time of the fire, there were no customers as the business was being prepared, and eight people involved in the fire escaped on their own and were not injured.



The fire department completely extinguished the fire at 11:19 am, about an hour after the fire started, by mobilizing 23 equipment such as pump cars and 64 firefighters.



Suwon Chicken Street was formed in the early 1970s when cauldron fried chicken restaurants opened along the Suwon River in Buksu-dong and Haenggung-dong, Paldal-gu.



In the alley, there are many famous whole chicken restaurants nationwide.



Suwon City designated Suwon Whole Chicken Street as a food culture street in June last year and is providing various support.
