Rota, a 14-year-old boy whom President Yoon Seok-yeol's wife, Kim Kun-hee, met in Cambodia on the 12th of last month, entered Korea this morning (2nd) and was hospitalized at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.

Rota was transported by ambulance from the airport this morning to Asan Medical Center in Seoul and is currently hospitalized for various pre-surgery tests.

Previously, Rota suffered from 'Fallout syndrome', which accounts for about 10% of congenital heart disease, and underwent heart transplant surgery in 2018, but was known to have been unable to continue follow-up treatment due to difficult family circumstances.

In the process of transporting Rota from the airport to the hospital, the police were dispatched due to a traffic jam.

At around 10 am today, the police received a 112 report that 'the child is being transported by ambulance, but the condition is not good', and mobilized two patrol cars to break through traffic congestion and transfer to the hospital.

An official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency explained, "I just did what I had to do according to the duty to protect the life, body and property of the people in the Act on the Performance of Duties by Police Officers."
