Police arrested a man in his 40s who assaulted a police officer dispatched to the scene while going on a rampage after taking drugs.

Gyeonggi Gimpo Police Station announced today (1st) that it has applied for an arrest warrant for Mr.

Mr. A is accused of acting in a state of administration of methamphetamine on a road in Sau-dong, Gimpo-si, around 4 am yesterday.

It was investigated that Mr. A took drugs in his car in the underground parking lot of a shopping mall building and then came out to the side of the road and kicked or blocked passing vehicles.

He was arrested as a current criminal after assaulting a police officer who was reported and dispatched, and a drug-positive reaction came out in the urine simple reagent test.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident based on Mr. A's statement that he obtained the drugs by a non-face-to-face 'throwing method' in which the buyer leaves the drug in a specific place in advance.

A police official said, "Mr. A showed abnormal behavior, and as a result of a liver test, the drug was positive." "Two drug syringes were also found in Mr. A's vehicle."
