The Itaewon Disaster Special Investigation Headquarters seized and searched the Fire Department today (25th) after finding out that official documents were faked in connection with the operation of the Central Emergency Rescue Control Team by the fire authorities at the time of the disaster.
The special edition sent 22 investigators to six locations, including the 119 General Situation Room of the National Fire Agency in the Sejong Government Complex at around 3:40 p.m.
The Central Emergency Rescue Control Group is a temporary organization organized by the National Fire Agency for emergency rescue in the event of a disaster.
It is said that the special version is investigating a fire authority official on charges of writing false public documents in the process of organizing and operating the Central Emergency Rescue Control Team at the time of the disaster.
