Attorney Nam Wook was released this morning due to the expiration of his arrest period.

After taking a break at a lodging near the Seoul Central District Court, he appeared as a witness at the trial in Daejang-dong.

[Nam Wook/Attorney: (Who is the real owner of Cheonhwa Dongin No. 1? Why did you change your statement (what is it?)) I will tell you in detail in court.]

Lawyer Nam has owned Cheonhwa Dongin No. 1 since February 2015 at the beginning of the trial, Lee Jae-myeong, Democratic Party representative. He said that he knew that it was his side's stake, and that there was something he couldn't tell during the prosecution's investigation out of fear, but he said that he would tell the truth to the extent of his knowledge.

In the subsequent trial, Attorney Nam revealed that he received 2.25 billion won from a sales agent named Lee in 2014, during the election period, and delivered at least 400 million won to Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader who was then mayor of Seongnam.

Then, about 1.2 billion won was delivered to Kim Man-bae, and this money was again delivered to Democratic Party representative Jeong Jin-sang, head of the Political Coordination Office, and Kim Yong, vice president of the Democratic Research Institute, through former head Dong-gyu Yoo in the name of election funds.

Attorney Nam has highlighted the connection between the Daejangdong project and CEO Lee Jae-myeong in recent trials.

Following Nam's lawyer, on the 24th, Kim Man-bae was also released due to the expiration of the detention period, and everyone in Daejang-dong will be tried without detention.

As all of them are key figures in the investigation of Lee Jae-myung's involvement, it seems that they will be investigated by the prosecution from time to time even after their release.
