A

stamp on the PCE

launched by Correos has caused the umpteenth political controversy on social networks.

Although the broadcast commemorates the centenary of the birth of the Communist Party of Spain, numerous tweeters from right-wing political positions have criticized the relevance of paying this tribute to an ideology.

"In March 1922, it held its first congress. A story with many faces of women and men who decided to commit themselves to change the reality of an unjust and unequal country," says the text that Correos dedicates to explaining the reason for this stamp.

In four paragraphs he mentions his birth, his role in the Second Republic, in opposition to Francoism and in the reconstruction of a democratic society.

A gesture that the formation itself has appreciated on Twitter.

The commemoration of centenaries is common in this type of issue by Correos, which in recent years has had similar gestures, for example, with

the VIII Centenary of Burgos Cathedral, the V Centenary of Elcano's Tour of the World,

and the centenarians of the Ministry of Labour, the Palace of Communications and the Osasuna Athletic Club.

But politics is, without a doubt, a more delicate terrain, and from the right it is criticized that this is done from a public company and the millions of deaths caused by communist ideology are remembered, the vast majority in other countries.

So on Twitter the colorful seal and the comments that recall negative episodes multiply.

And, with politics in between, any discussion always returns to the past in an eternal return.
