A woman in her twenties raising her four-month-old son alone in a multi-family house in Seoul.

Mr. A went to a nearby hospital when her child suddenly stopped breathing for the past 7 days.

She didn't even call 911.

Mr. A took a taxi to the hospital with her unconscious son.

She eventually died in the emergency room as her child.

However, at the time, the medical staff discovered the circumstances of abuse in the child who died.

She weighed significantly less than her peers, and her development and nutrition were seriously poor.

She even starved as the cause of her death, a situation where she was presumed to have died of starvation.

Eventually, the police arrived, and Mr. A was urgently arrested on charges of child abuse.

Mr. A is said to have denied the allegations during the initial police investigation, saying that she "only received a call from her aunt who was taking care of her child that she was not breathing and brought her to the hospital."

However, the police found this statement to be unreliable and she judged that Mr. A had caused her child to die by neglecting her, so she arrested Mr. A yesterday (the 9th).

While the autopsy of the deceased child is in progress, the police are investigating whether Mr. A has been subjected to further abuse.
