A 20-year-old driver who crashed into a firewall while driving drunk on a road in Incheon has been caught by the police.



The Incheon Central Police Station said that it is investigating a man in his 20s without detention on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.



A is suspected of hitting a plastic barrier installed on the roadside while driving a K5 vehicle drunk on a three-way bridge in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon around 2:21 a.m. today (6th).



In this accident, the K5 vehicle fell under a bridge that was 3 to 4 meters high, causing property damage estimated at 31.7 million won by other fire departments.



Driver A and two male passengers in their 20s evacuated immediately after the accident, and there were no injuries.



As a result of the investigation, it was found that A was drunk and drove a vehicle from the coastal road on the north side of Incheon International Airport toward the airport terminal 2 and caused an accident.



The blood alcohol level of Mr. A, measured by the police who was dispatched to the scene by a witness report, was confirmed as a license revocation value.



Police believe that Mr. A and others were drinking and driving in Eulwang-ri and will investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
