What happened ?

The public prosecutor of Limoges, Baptiste Porcher, delivered the final details of the investigation.

He confirmed Thursday evening the confessions of the young man, a 21-year-old agricultural worker.

"The respondent admitted to having killed the victim when they were both at his home and he had just had consensual sex," said Baptiste Porcher.

"He specified, without giving further explanations, that he had punched him which caused his death. He would then have taken the body to the forest with his vehicle, then would have gone to look for an agricultural machine in order to dig earth to bury the body in."

Blows with a blunt weapon?

The body found later is indeed that of Justine Vayrac.

Numerous traces of blows were found on his face, including one with a blunt weapon.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the causes and circumstances of the victim's death and thus verify Lucas' version of the facts.

The main suspect was indicted for rape, forcible confinement and murder.

Placed in pre-trial detention, he faces life imprisonment.
