Seoul Gangnam Police Station today (28th) sent YouTuber A and passenger B, who rode a motorcycle in revealing clothes in the middle of the city, to the prosecution on charges of overexposure under the Misdemeanor Punishment Act.
Mr. A is accused of driving a motorcycle in Gangnam, Seoul with his shirt off on July 31st.
Mr. B boarded the back seat in a bikini.
Both were wearing helmets.
At the time, controversy arose when an online community reported that they saw a man in a bikini and a man in a bikini riding a motorcycle in the rain.
Mr. A is a YouTuber who creates content related to bikes.
The Misdemeanor Punishment Act prohibits acts that cause embarrassment or displeasure to others by publicly exposing major parts of the body in a public place.
Failure to do so will result in a fine of not more than 100,000 won or imprisonment or a fine.
