Ten days after the terrible murder of Lola, 12, the girl's funeral will take place this Monday afternoon.

On the other hand, the investigation around Dahbia B., the suspect, continues to determine her state of mental health at the time of the events.

The instruction should last many months.

Ten days after the terrible murder which affected the whole country, the young Lola, 12, will be buried this Monday afternoon in Pas-de-Calais.

On the side of the investigation, a woman, Dahbia B. is in pre-trial detention in solitary confinement in the prison of Fresnes, in the Paris region.

The main suspect was indicted for murder of a minor under the age of 15.

His judicial journey has just begun and the investigation which has just opened should last at least 18 months.

This is what the law provides for classic criminal cases.

The psychological profile of the suspect in question

But this deadline should be largely exceeded because the state of mental health of the suspect will be at the heart of the debates.

The first psychiatric experts will be appointed quickly, but the psychological profile of the indictment and the atrocity of the facts will require a good number of counter-expertises.

Justice will therefore take its time so as not to miss any detail.

The experts will have to say if Dahbia B. was in a normal state during her gesture or if she suffered from a mental disorder.

If they believe that she was not conscious at the time of the act, she cannot be tried, thus depriving the family of the holding of a trial.

She would then be placed in a psychiatric hospital for many years.

On the other hand, if they consider that she was in full possession of her means, she could be tried before an assize court and composed of a popular jury.

She would then incur irreducible life imprisonment for this crime and could therefore end her days in prison.
