A middle school athletic coach who assaulted a student for years has been sentenced to a suspended sentence in prison.

A, a coach of the shooting team at a middle school in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, is accused of assaulting student B several times at a training ground, etc., over the past five years since 2015.



Person A was harshly treated by group B for clumsy snow removal or refusing to follow his instructions properly.



He even continued to bully him because he didn't like the way Group B walked to the shooting range.



A's assault continued even after disciple B graduated from the middle school and entered high school.



Person A, who appeared in court, denied the allegations, but the court did not accept it, saying, "The victim is consistently stating the date and time of the accused's crime and the circumstances that led to the assault."



"Even for educational purposes, the defendant's actions are unacceptable in terms of social norms," ​​he said.

80% of school sports leaders misbehave, only 'light punishment'
