Today (22nd) at around 6:50 PM, a car that was standing in the parking lot on the first floor of a villa in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul caught a fire of unknown cause.



According to the Songpa Fire Station in Seoul, a woman in her 20s, a resident of a villa who had evacuated to the roof when flames and smoke soared from the first floor, inhaled the smoke and was taken to the hospital.



A fire department official said, "It wasn't serious or anything, but he inhaled smoke and was taken to hospital."



In addition, the fire department is seeing that one resident of the villa evacuated by himself.



The fire department received a 119 report saying "there was a fire in the parking lot of the villa" at 6:50 pm and was dispatched.



By mobilizing 71 firefighters and 19 pump trucks, all fires were put out at 7:25 pm, about 30 minutes later.



The Benz burned down, and the exterior walls of the building were burned to a large extent.



It was determined that no one was in the vehicle at the time of the fire.



The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage.
