On the 15th, a female worker in her 20s at the SPL bakery, an affiliate of SPC, broke bread. It has been six days since he got caught in a machine while working on the sauce formulation and died.



Chairman Huh issued an official apology on the 17th, but the day after the disaster, the fact that work continued near the accident site was revealed.



SPC announced that it would conduct safety diagnosis on all business sites to prevent accidents from reoccurring, and invest 100 billion won in introducing safety-related facilities and improving the working environment.



The police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor jointly raided SPL's headquarters and bakery yesterday.



It is known that documents and electronic information related to work procedures and safety measures were secured through the search and seizure.



As investigative agencies begin to analyze confiscated items, related investigations such as identifying the cause of the accident are expected to speed up.



It is known that the survivors of the workers who died in the accident will soon file a complaint against the SPL CEO and others with the police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor.



It is said that the complaint will contain the content that the person responsible for the accident should be punished for violating the Serious Accident Punishment Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
