SPC Group Chairman Heo Young-in bowed his head.

Chairman Huh, who issued an apology on the 17th, two days after the accident, eventually apologized directly to the worsening public opinion.

[Heo Young-in/Chairman of SPC Group: I am deeply responsible for this accident, and I will humbly accept the severe rebuke and criticism of the people.]

SPC is committed to investing KRW 100 billion over three years to expand safety facilities and improve the working environment for workers. Measures have been put in place to prevent recurrence.

Outside the conference room, clashes between the KCTU officials and the management took place.

[KCTU Chemical Fiber Food Union official: Is this an apology?

No one can accept such an apology!]

Public opinion is still cold at the interview without concrete measures and no questions and answers.

In particular, as it became known that a worker who witnessed the death of a colleague was put into work the next day after an accident, and bread was sent to the funeral home, the boycott has not subsided.

[Lee Kang-soo / Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul: The company has no sense of responsibility, so I don't think it will be a big problem if you don't use it.]

[Jeong Hyeon-jin / Gangseo-gu, Seoul: It is a negative image, and I have not yet heard the desire to use it.]

Only the franchisees were hit directly due to the company that raised the problem.

[Affiliate store owner: The store owners are going crazy.

Sales also seem to have decreased by 20 to 30 percent.]

SPC said that there is no compensation plan for franchisees yet, and store owners are burning their hearts out in the widespread boycott.
