Coast Guard members enter the overturned hull.

Inside, the duvets used by sailors are floating around, and household items are scattered all over the place.

The coast guard succeeded in entering the ship three days after the accident.

However, the missing persons were never found.

The Coast Guard believes that it is highly likely that the missing crew members crashed into the sea.

Accordingly, the 9km radius of the accident was set as an intensive search zone, and the air search range was expanded to 92km east-west and 185km north-south, nearly three times larger than before.

[Kim Jin-woo / Seogwipo Maritime Police Station Security & Rescue Division Manager: Expansion of air search and use of ships or jointly, such as private fishing boats,

etc. not excluded.

As it has been confirmed that there are no missing persons inside the fishing vessel, an investigation into the cause of the accident through the towing of the fishing vessel is expected to begin in earnest.

[Im Gwang-cheol / Deputy Head of the Seogwipo Accident Remediation Headquarters: (The accident

fishing boat) is 29 tons, so we are considering towing it with a barge.

While this is expected to take place around next week at the earliest, the Coast Guard plans to conduct a detailed investigation into the cause of the overturn if the fishing vessel is towed to Seogwipo Port.
