On the night of October 14 to 15, 2022, the computer servers of the town hall of Chaville were the victims of a large-scale cyberattack.

A return to normal in several days
Since the cyberattack, officers no longer have access to their email and common network.
The “Family” portal, intended for crèches, schools, canteens and extracurricular activities, is inaccessible.
Employees had to adapt to keep vital records up to date.
Civil status services (identity cards, passports) were not affected.
On their blog, the hackers published documents allegedly stolen from the municipality.
However, these files do not belong to the municipality.
Accompanied by several cybersecurity experts, the town hall is working on a return to normal expected in the coming days after cleaning computers and restoring data.
