A man in his 30s was caught by the police after he set fire to an officetel with 500 butane gas.
The Uijeongbu Police Station announced that they had arrested 31-year-old A on charges of arson of the building in Hyeonju.
A is suspected of setting fire to a butane gas box after spraying vehicle fuel additives in an officetel room in Uijeongbu, where he lives, around 7 am on the 15th.
About 560 butane gas was found in Mr. A's room.
