Dong-gyu Yoo, the former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, a key figure in the suspicion of preferential treatment for development in Daejang-dong, has been released due to the expiration of the detention period.



Director Yoo was released from the Seoul Detention Center at 0 am today (20th) after more than a year.



After telling reporters, "I'm sorry," Yoo said, "I'm sorry," and he took a taxi and left.



Director Yoo has been on trial in detention since October last year, as charges of destruction of evidence were added following the preferential treatment for the development of Daejang-dong.
