An authentic immersion in the universe of the surrealist painter who discovers his life and work through a new concept of artistic experience.

Through dozens of projectors and the latest technology, the public will live a 360° sensory experience that runs through the different interpretations of the Spanish painter's masterpiece:

In each of the eight rooms of the museum, there will be reasons to enjoy this painting in a different way, such as seeing the Meninas canvas in 4D, designing the Meninas themselves, seeing holograms that allow you to study the work or talk with Velázquez or marvel at interactive installations of sculptures of meninas projected with videomapping, accompanied by baroque music and contemporary rhythms.

THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Last days to enjoy this successful production based on the work of the Austrian painter who immerses the visitor in Vienna at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th through his works and his world.

Until Sunday, October 16, the MAD Immersive Experiences Center in Matadero is hosting an experience that includes large-format projections on a 1,200 m2 digital reality screen, virtual reality sessions and exhibition spaces and interactive tools that allow viewers to feel inside the paintings and buildings that Gustav Klimt decorated.

TUTANKHAMON, THE IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION

Treasures, tombs, temples and mysteries of Egypt from more than 3,000 years ago, when King Tut, the child pharaoh, reigned, is what awaits the visitor in this exhibition based on the historical archives of the National Geographic Society that is presented at the Center of Immersive Experiences MAD, in Matadero.

Starting on November 14, the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid hosts a new light adventure that, in this case, will review the origin of living beings through mycology in a walk of approximately 1.5 kilometers.

Nature On

reproduces the bioluminescence processes of some fungi and mushrooms, which are capable of lighting up, giving rise to scenes of great beauty.

The experience, which recreates a magical and dazzling landscape in which the visitor can discover living organisms that until now have remained largely hidden, is made up of two parts: the

outside area

of ​​the gardens, with nine different species of fungi, and

the inside

, inside the Villanueva Pavilion of the Royal Botanical Garden, with a selection of scientific photographs taken by Carlos de Mier, in which, thanks to technology, the magical beauty of myxomycetes has been captured, microorganisms considered halfway between world of fungi and the kingdom protista.

Sorolla through the light

We will also have to wait (in this case until February 2023) to experience the first immersive exhibition of the Valencian painter, organized on the occasion of the centenary of his death.

It will be in the Genoa Halls of the Royal Palace of Madrid and it will combine Sorolla's works with digital recreations and sensory experiences through light, color and movement through new digital technologies.

You can also see original works by the artist, some from private collections rarely exhibited, and live a virtual reality experience that will take the visitor back to Sorolla's time.

The unprecedented exhibition is possible thanks to National Heritage, the Sorolla Museum Foundation and the company Light Art Exhibitions.
