The expression "Korea supports one China" is used in a notice of expulsion with the seal of a domestic university, causing controversy.

Recently, on an online community, a captured image of 'Announcement in Chinese for International Exchange Office of a Korean University' was posted.

The notice, written in Chinese, contained the contents of 'Approval of the expulsion of Mr. A, who is currently enrolled in the bilingual course of the Faculty of Business Administration at this university'.

Then, "Mr. A ripped the Chinese flag and cleaned his shoes, or made anti-Chinese remarks to some students."

"Korea and China have established friendly relations for more than 30 years, and Korea supports the 'one China' principle." Please be careful."

'One China' is a principle officially advocated by the Chinese government, meaning that China and Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau cannot be divided.

After that, the notice spread to various online communities, and netizens responded, "Is this a domestic university announcement?" "No matter how important it is to attract foreign students, it has crossed the line."

As the controversy intensified, the university said, "The announcement was written by a Chinese professor for Chinese students."

In addition, "The announcement is not a document distributed to all students, but an administrative document only open to Mr. A, and the expression of the problem is not the official position of the school." added.

On the other hand, it is said that Mr. A has been in constant conflict with the surrounding students since he entered the international student system in August.

Mr. A falsely reported that he was assaulted by her roommate, or showed problematic behavior such as drinking and arguing with students in the dormitory, so other international students submitted a complaint to the school asking that Mr. A be separated.

Currently, it is known that Mr. A left for China on the 13th under the guidance of the school at the request of her parents.
