A high school girl was found dead in Gwangju after leaving a note suggesting she had suffered school violence.

According to the Gwangju Police Agency on the 4th, a 17-year-old second grader attending a high school in Gwangju was found dead at her home around 6:30 am the previous day.

A police dispatched to the scene after receiving the report of both families, but did not find any suspicion of violent crime, such as traces of intrusion by outsiders.

However, it was confirmed that Miss A left a note stating that 'school life was difficult', and the police decided not to disclose the contents of the note at the request of the bereaved family.

Previously, Miss A was known to have been involved in the school's own investigation in relation to the suspected case of school violence, and it is reported that the school closed the case.

Based on the note left by Miss A, the police are tracking the exact circumstances of the incident, and are investigating the facts of the school by checking whether or not there was any damage to the school that Miss A attended.

Afterwards, if the causality of the school violence incident and Miss A's death is revealed, we plan to switch to an official investigation.

An official from the Gwangju Police Agency said, "If the circumstances of the murder of Yang A are not revealed, we plan to conclude with the opinion that there is no right to prosecute."
