Suspicions of 'private hiring' have been raised as there have been many confirmed cases of relatives and relatives of Saemaul Geumgo's incumbent executives being hired by the same local safe and working together.



According to the state audit data of ‘Status of Relatives and Relatives of Employees of Saemaul Geumgo in the metropolitan area’ submitted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security by Rep. Kim Gyo-heung (Gu-Gap Seo, Incheon) of the Democratic Party of Korea belonging to the Administrative Safety Committee of the National Assembly, 27 out of 100 regional safes in Gyeonggi-do (27%), Incheon In 5 (10%) of the 52 regional safes and 18 (9%) of the 212 regional safes in Seoul, it was identified that employees who are related to the employee are currently working.



Looking at each case, the daughter of the incumbent president is working as a manager at the Seoul Geumgo A district, and the president's son at the Gyeonggi B area Geumgo works at the manager level.



In Incheon C district Geumgo, the daughter-in-law of the chairman was hired in December 2018, and her granddaughter was hired eight months later.



In this local safe, a total of four employees, including two relatives and relatives of the incumbent director, were identified as having family relations with the incumbent executive.



In particular, it was found that the incumbent president entered the job interview of relatives and relatives as an interviewer in the three regional safes in the metropolitan area.



The current president of Incheon D District Geumgo worked as an interviewer in 2017, when his nephew applied for an open recruitment exam, and the nephew is currently working as a manager after passing the final exam.



At two regional safes in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, it was confirmed that the incumbent director personally entered the interview with relatives and relatives, including his nephew, and finally passed.



According to Saemaul Geumgo's internal regulations, if there are concerns about the potential harm to fairness such as interests or family relationships with the applicant, you cannot participate as an interviewer.



Saemaul Geumgo openly hires employees once each in the first and second half of the year.



Recruitment itself is supervised by the National Association, but 50% of the local safe screening process is reflected in the first stage document screening, and the final third stage interview is also directly supervised. .



The Saemaul Geumgo Federation also recognized these concerns about private recruitment and introduced the HR recruitment system hosted by the National Federation in October 2016. It is pointed out that there is a need for improvement measures, such as making it impossible to support and work.
