Today (30th) around 2:20 PM, a fire occurred due to an explosion at a pharmaceutical company's factory in Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The fire department, which received a 119 report that an explosion sounded from a drug factory, has put in about 40 equipment such as pump trucks and 80 firefighters to put out the fire.
At 2:49 pm, the first stage of response was activated by all fire department personnel in the jurisdiction.
So far, four people have been identified with minor injuries, and three workers have been confirmed to be isolated inside the building.
The building has a total floor area of 2,700 square meters on the first basement floor with five stories above the ground, and the fire was found to be on the third floor.
Currently, there is a lot of smoke on the second and third floors, making it difficult for firefighters to enter.
The fire department will investigate the exact cause of the fire as soon as the fire is extinguished.
