Composer and businessman Kim Min-soo, who works under the name of Money Spike, has been arrested by the police on charges of drug use.

The Nowon Police Station in Seoul said that they are investigating Kim on suspicion of drug use.

The police, who received an arrest warrant from the court, executed a warrant at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 8 pm yesterday (26th) and confiscated 30g of methamphetamine he was carrying.

Considering that a single dose of methamphetamine is usually 0.03g, the amount of seizure is about 1,000 doses.

While investigating a separate drug suspect, the police reportedly secured a statement to the effect that 'I had done drugs with Money Spike' and were conducting an investigation.

Don Spike also tested positive for methamphetamine in a simple drug test.

The police plan to review whether to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating the specific circumstances of the crime.
