The entrance to the parking lot on the first basement floor was charred.

The underground parking lot was horribly changed as a huge amount of soot was generated for over 7 hours along with black smoke.

Relevant organizations such as the police, the National Institute of Scientific Investigation, and the fire department conducted the first joint investigation on the fire scene of the outlet underground parking lot and continued the second investigation in the afternoon.

The area of the loading dock in the parking lot on the first basement level where the fire was first witnessed was intensively investigated, and no flammable substances were found.

The police are said to have confirmed the scene where a 1 ton truck was parked on the CCTV near the loading dock on the first basement floor that was secured yesterday and the fire started around the truck.

In the morning inspection, it was difficult to check whether disaster prevention facilities such as sprinklers and indoor fire hydrants were functioning properly.

Toxic gas and smoke spread faster than flames to the entire underground parking lot, and the number of casualties increased.

The Daejeon Employment and Labor Administration also participated in this joint investigation and began a full-scale investigation into the application of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.

Seven people in the basement parking lot lost their lives in this fire, and only one employee in their 40s survived, but is in critical condition.

Of the eight casualties, six are employees of outlet partners, and two are employees of external logistics and delivery companies.
